The objective was to create a visually engaging website that reflects the beauty of Hokkaido while making it easy for travelers to discover destinations, explore guided tours, and submit travel enquiries. The entire interface was designed from scratch before development. I created custom layouts and user flows in Figma, while supporting visual assets and marketing graphics were designed in Canva. The result is a premium interface that captures the natural beauty of Hokkaido and encourages users to explore further.

The complete website was developed in Wix Studio, providing a responsive and scalable foundation. Every section was carefully built to ensure consistency across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices while maintaining pixel-perfect responsiveness.

To create a memorable browsing experience, I developed multiple custom interactive sections using Velo by Wix. These elements go beyond standard Wix Studio functionality, adding smooth user interactions and modern visual effects that enhance the overall experience without affecting performance.

Designed engaging layouts to showcase tour experiences, destinations, travel information, and local guides. Information is structured to help visitors quickly understand available experiences while maintaining a visually immersive presentation inspired by travel storytelling.

Every page was optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices to ensure a seamless experience regardless of screen size. Special attention was given to typography, spacing, and media presentation across breakpoints.

One of the main challenges was creating a visually rich travel website without sacrificing loading speed or responsiveness. The project also required transforming custom Figma designs into a pixel-perfect Wix Studio implementation while incorporating custom Velo functionality that blended naturally with the overall design.

The completed website gives Hokkaido Tour Guides a premium online presence that reflects the quality of its travel experiences. Visitors can easily browse destinations, discover guided tours, and submit enquiries through an intuitive and visually engaging interface. The scalable architecture also allows the business to expand its tours, destinations, and content as it continues to grow.
