I wrote original social copy for a high-end eVTOL aviation startup called LEO Flight Corp. My focus was on positioning their cutting-edge flying car of the future as aspirational, innovative & future facing.
I also managed the Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram & TikTok.
Inspiration: Prometheus and Icarus of Greek mythology—as symbols of ambition, risk and innovation.
As a long time fan of mythology and ancient cultures, this is one that came straight from my own lifelong inspiration, during one of my brainstorming sessions.
Surprisingly, while I did a deep dive on LEO Flight's direct competitors, there wasn't a ton of luxury content in the eVTOL space, so I mainly looked to cars for inspiration. 
I discovered Porsche Taycan ads. A literal G.O.A.T among car advertisers. Their commercials and short films are next level, Oscar-worthy.
Audi USA & Mercedes Benz also had strong copy on their socials. 
This was an experimental piece of copy meant to convey the perpetual excitement of flying every day. Instead of just describing the feeling, I wanted to put the reader in the driver's seat. Make it more visceral.
Wherever possible I used keywords related to aircraft, especially related to how fast it is compared to its competitors, and anything related to environmental sustainability.
It was important to juxtapose luxury with either responsibility (to the earth) or convenience (to the consumer).
A lot of the research I did was in the realm of Neo-Futurism and Retro-Futurism. Revisiting the Jetsons, watching 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time, discovering artists like Syd Mead & Bruce McCall, etc. Just by sheer nature of the job, there was a need to come to the table with a fresh take and inspiration virtually every week. Which meant I gave myself a lot of homework.
