The Brand Challenge
How do you create a personal care brand that speaks to people living between two identities, in a world that still expects them to choose one?
The brief was to build a brand that reflects the experience of diaspora— people who navigate between cultures, places, and versions of themselves every day. The Solution How do you visually connect people to where they come from, without being literal or nostalgic?
The answer was to use a universal symbol of movement and belonging: stamps.
Stamps are more than just marks—they are traces of journeys.
Logo Concept
The logo draws inspiration from the distinctive edges of postage stamps.
Visual Language
The visual language builds on the idea of stamps as carriers of identity.
Each stamp contains a unique pattern— a visual expression of different personas within the Dyaspora community.
Rather than representing identity as a single form, the system embraces diversity through a collection of distinct yet connected elements.
Packaging Approach
The structure of the packaging is intentionally minimal, allowing the concept to lead.
A clean rectangular box is disrupted by a die-cut window inspired by stamp edges, turning the package itself into a stamp-like artifact.
The larger bottle label is framed with the same perforated stamp edges, as if the bottle has been directly “marked” like a stamp.
This creates a cohesive system where both the packaging and the product feel like part of the same narrative—objects that carry traces of movement and origin.

Dyaspora is a personal care brand built around the idea of living between two worlds. Inspired by the experience of diaspora, the brand explores identity as something layered, fluid, and constantly evolving—shaped by movement, culture, and personal history. At the core of the concept is the idea of “Traces of Home”, expressed through a visual system inspired by stamps. Stamps act as symbolic markers of journeys—capturing where we’ve been, where we belong, and the identities we carry along the way.
