A POEM ON HOPEFULNESS
Of a single star in a sky of gray,
Hope breaks through at the start of day.
A tender thread, yet bold as it weaves,
Connecting dreams for those who believe.
In dark moments when the world feels small,
And shadows stretch like whispers on the wall,
Softly, close to one’s heart, it murmurs, "You're not alone,"
A soothing voice, a steady tone.
In the rustle of leaves in the soft, warm breeze,
In the gentle buzz of busy honeybees,
In the first rays of the morning light,
Hope arises, chasing away the night.
When burdens press down and spirits feel low,
Hope rekindles the warmth we once know.
It lifts us high, refreshes the mind,
In hope, fresh beginnings we find.
Though life may bend beneath its weight,
And every joy be shadowed by fate,
Hope holds on, a reliable friend,
A guide, a light that doesn’t end.
It’s found in the smile of a passing face,
In every hand that offers grace,
In laughter shared and love that stays,
Hope brightens the world in endless ways.
In every corner, in all spaces wide,
Hope leaves behind a touch of pride.
A melody that lifts the heart,
A symphony that plays our part.
So cherish this flicker, this vibrant spark,
A guiding flame when shadows are dark.
For hope persists, unwavering, true,
A promise of sunlight breaking through.
In this world of highs and lows,
Where life can sometimes take its toll,
Hope is the beacon that we truly need,
A light to follow, a voice to heed.
It softly nudges, “Carry on,”
The night is long, but dawn will come.
And in that light, so warm, so bright,
Hope will be there, ready to ignite.
