Grizzly Energy – Be Ruthless Event Promo

Overview: Grizzly Energy, an up-and-coming energy drink brand, sponsored a professional boxer at a charity auction and fundraising event. The goal of the project was to create a high-energy promo video that captured the brand’s bold personality and showcased its presence at the event through dynamic visuals, engaging storytelling, and powerful editing.

Pre-Production: I arrived an hour before the event to conduct a quick location scout and plan key shots. My main focus was to identify opportunities to highlight the Grizzly Energy brand elements, from product placement to branded banners and promo staff.

Production: During the event, I captured a variety of footage that told the story of Grizzly’s involvement:

Backstage moments of the sponsored boxer preparing for the fight.

In-action footage from the match to emphasize intensity and energy.

Event coverage including promo girls, guests engaging with the brand, and overall atmosphere.

The goal was to create a visual narrative that felt authentic, energetic, and aligned with the brand’s slogan, “Be Ruthless.”

Post-Production: In editing, I selected a hip-hop/rap-inspired soundtrack to complement the energy of the fight and the brand’s attitude. I then:

Reviewed all footage and selected the strongest, most dynamic clips.

Synced visuals to the music’s rhythm and beat for maximum impact.

Added text animations, visual effects, and brand graphics.

Applied basic color correction and grading to achieve a bold, gritty tone fitting the event’s atmosphere.

Result: The final vertical promo video delivered a fast-paced, high-energy highlight of Grizzly Energy’s sponsorship — successfully reinforcing the brand’s fierce identity and engaging viewers with a mix of athletic intensity and lifestyle appeal.
