Project Purpose
The University of the Free State commissioned a short, high-energy promo video to build excitement among students ahead of the 2025 Varsity Cup. The video’s goal is to capture the passion, the spirit, and anticipation surrounding the tournament, motivating students to rally behind the team.
Although the raw material was captured in landscape, the final video was creatively adapted into a vertical format to align with the viewing habits of students on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms. The emphasis is on fast-paced visuals, energetic music, and bold captions to ensure maximum impact on mobile-first channels.
