GUERILLA MARKETING IDEA: As many years have passed since the time of Polly Pocket, the magic of childhood has started to wither away. The bright colors and flashy design of the Polly Pocket Compact has become a timeless replica of what it felt like to be young. I wanted to remind people that the magic within the world of Polly Pocket is still within them, even if we are all grown up. I want to place Polly Pocket-ized world items, full-sized, around cities. For example, a bench at a bus stop could be swapped to become bright pink and shiny. Or a Polly Pocket styled makeup table could be placed at the mall, with real makeup on it. This could show people that we can (and should) still romanticize our lives, and that Polly Pocket is within all of us, in the little things we do every day.
