Concept Design
The Hawer Lounge Chair explores the relationship between posture, weight, and visual calm. The form is intentionally low and grounded, creating a sense of stability and rest through proportion rather than excess material. A continuous upholstered volume is supported by a restrained wooden structure, allowing the chair to read as both soft and architectural. Comfort is achieved through controlled angles, surface tension, and material contrast. This concept reflects a design approach focused on clarity, restraint, and long-term visual balance rather than trend-driven expression.
