Inthe public transport industry of Northern Ireland, the management of supplier
relationships has received increasing attention as a vital aspect in driving
transformative change and achieving a sustained competitive advantage in recent
years. As the landscape of technology, consumer expectations, and market
dynamics continue to shift, more and more businesses realise the significance
of good supplier relationship management (SRM) in moulding the actions of
supply chain participants and improving overall performance. Utilising the
conceptual framework provided by dynamic capacity theory, the purpose of this
Master of Science research project is to investigate the influence and impact
of SRM on the behaviour of supply chains, with a particular emphasis on Risk
Management, innovation, and continual improvements, as well as their effect on
the resilience of supply chains.
