The idea is too simple to implement. The farmer needs a perfect channel to find all kinds of updates for crops, weather, and soil to get accurate results while using fertilizer. So the company plans to use some aggregators who help farmers using real-time data.

A fastest growing farmer market to make a buffer effect to create a perfect update for farmers, and also the employees who work for farmers as well. Give farmers precise weather updates and effortless selling before harvesting.

You can choose your product, choose a variant. Manage variants and insert planting day. Masure crop duration coefficient & rootzone depth. Manage KC values. All these measurements can calculate your crop's upcoming risk. Mesure other problems arise in your locations. All data are measured and leveled by the system and shown to the farmer who gives them an analytical report for updating crop growth. This feature can measure your variant and check them, analyze them and show the pest data which can arise during particular KC values.

Need a farmer management system where farmer can manage their crop, can collect all kind of updates abour farming. But for the first phase we need a system where farmer can track their crop updates and sell there goods.

My approach to reaching the product goal of Sesame

Explore: First I explore the product, it's a research-grade product. As a result, I can’t find any moldboard in the open market. So first I collected the data from regular farmer workers assigned by the government. I define the product according to the eye of people who work for farmers. Defining goals using the data and also finding several challenges.

Research: I collect the problems directly from farmers. I created several scenarios and also read research papers for farmers and crops. I collected several keywords which are relevant to my niche. I can’t find any competitors for this particular product.

Observation: According to my analysis and also the data I collected from the research paper and user personas farmers have no proper monitoring system. Marketplace for selling and marketplace for getting the proper product is quite an intensive job for farmers. Acquired land for farming is decreasing.

Design (Prototype) and Evaluation: I started with two different prototypes. And started the mapping of information architecture and Ui parrels. Here are some examples. For this product, I don’t create any wireframe to measure the risk of the feature.

I choose Aurora for fetching the color. Clients give me a clear identification that they need the branding in green. And I see a couple of color plates to match the same feels. But I found that it's named Sesame. And sesame has some properties of green and yellow. This same visualization actually appeared in Aurora. I used a couple of images to extract the color and its compositions. At last, I fetch all the colors using this image to make a color plate.

According to the client, they have some restrictions about the font. They give me three identification about the font. The font needs to be professional and elegant, giving users common vibes. So I choose inter to manage my project. All breakthroughs are down below.

Talk with several farmers in rural areas, getting feedback from government employees and their feedback. Read more than 50+ research papers and 6+ design iterations finally, this output is enforced to the sesame. In the testing phase, it works pretty well.

Though for now the system is already completed, there is a catch. During the phase of iteration, I found several things which are important features. I discussed this with my clients, and we will work with them for further updates. My plan is to create an ecosystem for farmers, They like to create the ecosystem in multiple phases. Also, several phases ain’t covered in this phase like aggregator models and supply chain.

Education module for farmers to learn more about planting, harvesting and irregation. Presticide, fertilizer suggetion modules for farmers. Market fluctuation module for existing crop. Loan Management module and Microcredit system for farmer. These all are future scopes for business expansion.

As a product designer always try to learn from my every project, In this project I learn I did several wrong things with the questionnaires in the very beginning, but after some iteration, I learn that creating questionaries and personas is actually real-life work. ⛵ Virtual communication helps but being clear about the product is really important.

I was 100% Dependent on online 🤖, but after this project, i believe that trying to collect data from the real-life world is really important.

After reading several research papers about farmers, I learn a lot about their problems and how to solve them. In this interaction, Also learn about an ecosystem design service called provisioning and regulating. Using this method we can enhance any business can create an ecosystem to enhance their services as a product.

Suggestion for my fellows: Using pen and paper is important to create something amazing, it helps us to collect data faster and is a good building method that every people practices everyday. And having an experience like this sharp why not use them in your professional life? Cause tools are something that we have to learn for a time period and need a device which make it more costly and time-consuming in the real world, we already have great skills with pen and paper, sketch your ideas then boom 🔥 🔥 🔥.
