What is e-CNA?
e-CNA is a survey designed to assess a child’s needs and preferences for booking a tutor. It efficiently gathers insights and enables users to seamlessly book a teacher based on their needs through a fully digital, human-free process, ensuring a swift and user-friendly signup experience.
Challenges and Solutions
Background
Before e-CNA, we lacked an end-to-end digital process.
Academic Counsellor intervention was required for teacher matching and slot booking based on needs assessment.
Challenges
Communication issues: Calls to parents/children often went unanswered/ignored.
Hindered slot booking due to non-responsive communication.
Solution
Shifted to a fully digital process “e-CNA” to streamline sign-ups.
Addressed drop-off concerns by keeping the survey to limited questions and ensured efficient completion of the signup process.
Design Process
The entire project, from the start to when we shipped it, lasted around 4-5 weeks. This timeline below shows all the important steps we took to fix the issues through the redesign.

Impacts
Response Rate: % of users who participated in the survey compared to the total number who interacted.
Survey Completion Rate: % of users who completed the e-CNA survey but didn’t book a class.
Conversion Rate (from survey to signup): % of users who completed the e-CNA survey and also subsequently booked a class.
Drop-off Rate: Identify points in the survey where users drop off.
