Shaping a visual identity for a new kind of travel brand

About the project
Romy and Bodien founded Route Rebels with a clear vision: to create unique travel maps that inspire people to explore the world in a traditional way, away from screens and back into real adventure. The maps would later become artistic keepsakes — travel memories designed to hang proudly on your wall. Before any map could be designed, the brand needed a strong foundation. Route Rebels required a visual identity that captured the spirit of exploration and gave the brand a consistent and recognizable face. Together, we shaped the creative direction and translated it into a complete identity system with logo, color palette, typography, brand assets, and tone of voice.

Results

The result is a bold and flexible identity that captures the essence of Route Rebels: adventure and tradition. The full delivery included a complete visual identity system and detailed brand guidelines to ensure consistent use across socials, print, digital, and their main product: real travel maps. This strong foundation allowed Route Rebels to grow with confidence and launch its first series of maps with a clear, cohesive, and inspiring brand presence.
