Overview 🔎

This app is suitable for both novice and experienced individuals. I have personally never practiced meditation, but my mother is a yoga instructor.
I started doing this project due to my client and I had to handle the project on my own.
During the last years, meditation apps were on the rise due to the growing popularity of mindfulness exercises and growing awareness of mental health.
The major constraints I faced during all my research was all of the apps which I downloaded were paid.
We didn’t have the budget to buy any subscriptions,
so I could only get the data from free versions.
I asked many of my friends about these app and collected their finding and created personas and empathy map.

Problem & Solution 🤝

Often, the hardest step in starting meditation or discussing personal problems is taking the initial action.
Goals/Requirements: My requirements that helped get this project to the finish line. • People tend to avoid situations or run away from problems • Existing apps like simple habit , headspace and many more are paid and which may be a barrier for beginners who may not want to spend money on them. • On the other hand, experienced individuals may be more willing to pay for the benefits of these apps but they don’t find anything dedicated to them.
• Existing ui is too complex and everything is paid, user feels demotivated to continue.

Process 🛣

I did competitor analysis on headspace, ten percent happier, breathwrk and smiling mind.

Results 🎁

Wrap up the project by showing you the screens. After the usability testing

After a lot of iterations, I think we can go this way

Takeaways 📣

Let me share some of the things I learned while designing this app
I got to think more about the user’s lifestyle not just the app experience.
