AI Job Application Form Filler: One Click Instead of 8 Minutes

Job seekers often spend 5 to 10 minutes typing the same details into every application form.
The problem
A client needed to automate this across dozens of job boards, each with its own unpredictable form layout. Copying the same profile into every form slowed the whole job hunt down.
What I built
A browser extension with a Python backend and Gemini AI:
The user saves their profile once
The extension reads the form on any job page
AI matches each field and fills it in seconds
It warns the user when a secure form blocks outside scripts
The hard part
Some job sites load their forms inside secure frames that block outside scripts. The extension spots these blocks and tells the user right away, so a form never fails without warning.
Results
About 8 minutes of typing down to 1 click
Works on 90 to 95% of standard job boards
