Paid media strategy and execution for the viral hit from artist Mark Ambor.
For the global marketing plan of Mark Ambor’s viral hit “Belong Together,” I developed and executed a comprehensive paid media strategy across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, and Snapchat. This 14-week campaign followed the success of Mark’s previous hit, “Good to Be,” for which I also served as the strategist.
I worked closely with local teams from Virgin Records and Universal Music to manage and deliver the best results across multiple countries, including the USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, Sweden, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, India, Singapore, and the Philippines.
The campaign’s primary goal was to maximize reach and awareness, leveraging each platform’s unique strengths to connect with diverse audiences, including the artist's fans, worldwide. By utilizing targeted ads, engaging content, and strategic timing, we successfully broke into the Billboard 100 within just two weeks of the campaign’s launch.
The results were outstanding: “Belong Together” reached #2 in Poland, #3 in the Netherlands and Belgium, #7 in Germany, #11 in the UK charts, and #35 in the US. The song was also featured in popular playlists, including Today’s Top Hits, Pop Rising, Mood Booster, and dozens of others. These achievements highlight the effectiveness of a well-coordinated, multi-platform paid media strategy in driving international chart success.
