This project is a motion graphic-driven documentary produced for MagnatesMedia’s YouTube channel, titled "The Dark Truth About PayPal." The video explores the controversial history and behind-the-scenes strategies of one of the world’s most well-known online payment platforms. My role was to transform the provided script into a compelling visual narrative through motion design.

The entire video was developed using a motion graphic style, designed to match the tone of the script—dark, dramatic, and informative. Every scene was crafted to visualize the narration, turning complex ideas and historical events into clear, engaging animations.

Visual elements were built to reflect the serious and investigative tone of the topic, while remaining aligned with MagnatesMedia’s branding and storytelling approach.

The final video delivered a strong and immersive viewer experience, helping MagnatesMedia engage its audience with a visually supported story about PayPal’s lesser-known side. This project contributed to the channel’s goal of producing documentary content that is both educational and entertaining.

To ensure high-quality visuals and an efficient workflow, this project was executed using a combination of tools from the Adobe Creative Cloud suite:

Adobe After Effects Used as the primary tool for creating all motion graphic animations. After Effects provided the flexibility and control needed to craft smooth transitions, dynamic compositions, and complex animations aligned with the storytelling goals of the documentary.

Adobe Photoshop Utilized for editing and optimizing photographic elements and image-based assets. Photoshop enabled adjustments such as retouching, background removal, and color correction to ensure visual consistency throughout the video.

Adobe Illustrator Employed for editing and refining vector-based assets, including icons, illustrations, and graphic elements. Illustrator ensured that all vector visuals remained crisp, scalable, and ready for seamless integration into the animation workflow.

By combining these tools, I was able to deliver a polished and cohesive visual experience that aligned with MagnatesMedia’s professional standards.
