Redesigning my web portfolio to optimize user retention. 👨‍💻

I just wrapped up a complete restructuring of my personal web portfolio using React, Tailwind, and Vite. The goal wasn’t just a visual facelift, but solving real-world optimization and UX challenges that often get overlooked.

Here is a breakdown of what I prioritized during this sprint:

* Mobile performance & interactivity: I optimized the tsParticles integration by capping the frame rate at 120 FPS for high-refresh-rate displays and eliminated abrupt edge-bounce calculations. The result? Lower battery consumption and smoother, more natural transitions.

* Immersive UI/UX: I implemented a subtle, dynamic spotlight effect that follows the cursor, layered over an ultra-faint technical grid on a dark background. The focus was finding the perfect balance between modern aesthetics and readability.

* Modular architecture: I refactored the projects section using asymmetrical layouts and optimized modals. These components break down the engineering behind each build—ranging from AI integrations with Llama 3 to IoT telemetry via MQTT.
