The Black Founders Network (BFN) is a startup accelerator organization for Black founders in Canada. Through summer, BFN hosted two cohort-based programs that included several activities and events for selected founders.
Our objective was to create a digital compendium to highlight the concluded program and the key success stories of various founders in the 2024 cohorts.
Approach
The aim of the microsite was to showcase the events and success stories from the BFN programs in a story-like manner. After a few suggestions from the project manager, we agreed on a structure for the microsite. I went on to create the website copy; drawing from BFN’s socials and its parent organisation’s website for information when necessary.
In addition to crafting the copy, I worked with the developer to ensure that the website copy was optimised for the different elements on the microsite. I also reviewed the website from time to time to ensure that the crafted copy was well implemented on the site.
