Pahud — Smart Wallet & Automated Payments Platform

Pahud is a full-stack Web3 smart wallet designed to make blockchain payments feel as simple and familiar as modern digital banking.
The platform combines account abstraction, gas-sponsored transactions, automated payments, secure account recovery, and real-time portfolio management in one responsive experience.

The Challenge

Most crypto wallets still require users to understand gas fees, seed phrases, network switching, wallet approvals, and complex transaction states.
The goal of Pahud was to reduce this technical friction while maintaining the security and transparency of on-chain transactions.
The product needed to support both everyday users and businesses that require scheduled payments, configurable permissions, and reliable transaction monitoring.

My Role

I handled the product design and full-stack blockchain implementation, including:
UX strategy and responsive interface design
Next.js and React frontend development
Smart-account and wallet integration
ERC-4337 account-abstraction flows
Gasless transaction handling
Automated and scheduled payment logic
Token balance and transaction synchronization
Guardian-based account recovery
Backend services and real-time notifications
Smart-contract interaction and testing

The Solution

Pahud provides users with a programmable smart account instead of a traditional externally owned wallet.
Users can create an account, manage multiple digital assets, send and receive tokens, swap assets, schedule recurring payments, and review activity through one clear dashboard.
Gas sponsorship allows selected transactions to complete without requiring users to hold the blockchain’s native gas token. Transaction previews clearly display the recipient, network, token amount, estimated fees, and final confirmation before execution.
A guardian-based recovery system provides an additional way to restore account access without relying entirely on a single seed phrase.

Key Features

ERC-4337 smart-account creation
Social and wallet-based onboarding
Gasless and sponsored transactions
ETH, USDC, and ERC-20 asset management
Token sending, receiving, and swapping
Scheduled and recurring payments
Transaction previews and confirmations
Real-time portfolio balances
Payment and activity history
Spending and payment controls
Guardian-based account recovery
Responsive desktop and mobile interfaces
Clear pending, successful, rejected, and failed states

Technology

Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Solidity, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin, viem, WebSockets, ERC-4337, and EVM-compatible blockchain infrastructure.

Design Approach

The visual direction combines the clarity of a modern fintech product with the functionality of a Web3 wallet.
Instead of using a heavily technical crypto interface, Pahud presents balances, payments, recovery settings, and transaction activity through familiar navigation and straightforward language.
The responsive system was designed for both desktop portfolio management and fast mobile payments.

Outcome

Pahud demonstrates how account abstraction can remove several major barriers to blockchain adoption.
The final product concept combines secure wallet infrastructure, programmable payments, gas sponsorship, automated transactions, and account recovery in a polished full-stack experience that feels accessible to users beyond the traditional crypto market.
