This case study highlights the implementation of a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS) designed to engage the staff, foster personal growth and create a culture of continuous learning within an organization. The LMS focuses on self-help and the way to happiness, offering free courses to employees. This case study presents the problem statement, solution, and the impact achieved through the implementation of this Learning Management System.

Problem Statement

The organization faced a critical challenge in providing a cohesive and user-friendly platform to deliver self-help courses for personal improvement and enlightenment. The existing training methods lacked structure and a centralized approach, resulting in inconsistencies in course delivery and limited employee engagement. Manual assignment and tracking processes were time-consuming, prone to errors, and hindered the organization's ability to effectively evaluate employee progress and performance. The absence of a dedicated LMS contributed to a fragmented learning experience and hindered the organization's goal of enhancing the skills and well-being of its workforce.

Solution

To overcome the aforementioned challenges, the organization embarked on the development and implementation of a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS). This solution aimed to streamline the staff training process and create a user-friendly platform to deliver self-help courses for personal improvement and a better way of living. The LMS encompassed various features, including a course catalog, intuitive user interface, course enrollment and progress tracking, teacher assignment, assessments and feedback mechanisms, and certification options. These features aimed to provide a holistic and immersive learning experience for employees while simplifying administrative tasks for the management team.

Key Learning

The UX Stages of the project provided me with a deep understanding of user-centric design principle. Through the activities like creating user flows, sitemaps, user stories and user persona. I learned the importance of empathy and putting user at the centre of the design process.Understanding the unique requirements and workflows of each user group allowed for tailored solutions that addressed their specific challenges. The streamlined course creation process, clear information architecture , Student & Teacher management all contributed to a positive user experience for admins, teachers, and students.
