Project Overview: Ounje Farmer Resource Hub

Ounje is a digital platform built to empower smallholder farmers by giving them centralized access to essential agricultural resources. From tools and planting guides to funding opportunities and cooperative networks, Ounje simplifies the path to growth for the people who feed our communities.
Problem: Smallholder farmers across emerging markets face major barriers when trying to access trustworthy information, farming tools, government support, and peer networks. Existing resources are often scattered, outdated, or difficult to navigate, especially for those with limited digital experience.
Solution: Ounje brings everything together into one accessible, mobile-friendly platform. It offers verified tools, localized guides, subsidy programs, and co-op directories , all curated to meet the real needs of small-scale farmers.
Approach: I led the product design and prototyping in Framer, focusing on:
Mobile-first, low-bandwidth-friendly layouts
Earth-toned visual identity inspired by real farm environments
Subtle motion to guide interaction without distraction
Clear calls-to-action for farmers to explore, apply, and connect
Outcome: Ounje is currently 90% complete. With a functional prototype and responsive build in place, it’s set to launch as a resource that bridges the gap between rural agriculture and modern support systems.
