FlowAI is an AI-powered B2B SaaS analytics platform designed for engineering teams, Engineering Managers, Team Leads, and developers. By seamlessly integrating with core workflow tools (Jira, GitHub, Linear, Slack), FlowAI transforms complex, scattered workspace data into clear, real-time actionable insights.

The goal of this B2B SaaS UI/UX design project was to help teams evaluate sprint performance, identify delivery risks early, assess workload distribution, and prevent burnout without micromanagement.

Modern software development teams and tech leaders frequently face three critical challenges:

Invisible Burnout & Workload Imbalance: Managers usually see high-level task completions, but lack visibility into the human cost. Developers overtime, burn out, and leave—often unnoticed until it’s too late.

Sprint Delivery Uncertainty: The classic question "Will we make it by Friday?" often remains unanswered until the deadline hits. Traditional standups focus on static status updates rather than underlying trends and emerging bottlenecks.

Data Without Context: Jira and GitHub track raw metrics (commits, PRs, cycle time), but fail to provide meaningful context. Individual contributors feel monitored rather than supported, perceiving metrics as strict KPIs instead of helpful tools.

To address these pain points, a human-centered UI/UX architecture was built around three key pillars:

Human-Centric Analytics (Support Over Surveillance): The integrated AI Advisor translates raw technical data into empathetic, actionable recommendations. Instead of micromanaging, the platform suggests proactive solutions: "Reassign these tasks" or "Avoid assigning new tasks to this team member due to high burnout risk."

Cohesive Visual System & Themes: Designed a scalable B2B design system with clear color coding for statuses and risk factors, complete with fully adapted Dark and Light modes for a comfortable daily workflow.

UX Research & Information Architecture: Defined key user flows, detailed personas (Engineering Manager, Frontend Developer, Founder), and strategic risk-benefit mapping.

Dark & Light Mode Adaptation: Full visual UI adaptation across complex graphs, cards, data visualizations, and interactive components.

AI Feature Integration: Seamless UI pattern for the AI Assistant / Advisor to communicate complex data trends in clear, human language.Keywords
