Context

Ortodontic is a modern dental and orthodontic clinic offering a wide range of therapeutic services — from orthodontics and general dentistry to physiotherapy and speech therapy. Their existing website was outdated, not user-friendly, and failed to reflect the clinic’s welcoming, family-first brand.

Goal

Create an engaging and conversion-optimized website that:
Feels friendly and professional for all patients — especially parents with young children.
Reflects the real-life vibe of the clinic interior.
Simplifies the booking process.
Highlights the holistic treatment process (collaboration between dentists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists).

Process

Research & Discovery
Stakeholder interviews to extract priorities (child-focused design, easy booking, vibe-matching visual language).
Competitor audit: Primadent, Ortodent, Estetica — noted common weaknesses (hard to book, confusing info) and strengths (clear services, welcoming visuals).
Content audit: Prioritized service clarity, visible team bios, and intuitive navigation.

UX Strategy

Defined key personas: parents with children, adult patients, elderly clients.
Set user journey priorities: Service clarity → Trust → Booking.
Crafted sitemap and structured content to address primary conversion paths.

Wireframes

Built mobile-first wireframes to plan layout hierarchy.
Optimized each section for clarity, trust signals, and CTA visibility.
Prototyped early in Framer for internal testing.

UI Design

Chose navy blue as base for professionalism, combined with bright accents (lime green) and playful 3D illustrations to appeal to kids and parents.
Designed custom icons for services and a cartoon apple with braces as a friendly mascot.
Used Coolvetica for headings — balancing clinical with playful.
Integrated real photos of team members for trust and personalization.

Extra Value

Delivered 4 hero section design options to help the client test different tones: fun, clinical, emotional, and bold.
Suggested motion use in child-related sections using Jitter for added interactivity.
