Vila Sancar is a boutique guesthouse located in Lençóis, Bahia, the gateway to the breathtaking Chapada Diamantina National Park. The challenge was to develop a visual identity that seamlessly blends the comfort of premium hospitality with the adventurous spirit of ecotourism.

The Challenge
The goal was to position Vila Sancar not just as a place to stay, but as an essential part of the adventure experience. The brand needed to communicate rusticity, sophistication, and a deep connection with the local landscape.

The Story Behind the Name and Symbol
The name Sancar is a meaningful blend of the founders' last names. To honor the origin of their story — a surf shop where they first met — we integrated a wave element into the visual identity.
Creative Challenge: The Wave The primary design challenge was to incorporate a maritime symbol into a mountain and canyon setting.
Strategic Design: The wave is subtly represented through a custom modification of the letter "S".
Market Positioning: This refined approach avoids cliché beach-resort aesthetics, ensuring the brand remains sophisticated and perfectly aligned with the ecotourism vibe of Lençóis.

The Symbol: Capturing the Landscape
The Vila Sancar symbol is more than just a graphic mark; it is a visual distillation of the Bahian skyline. Developed by abstracting the iconic mountain ranges of the Chapada Diamantina National Park, the design translates the scale of nature into a symbol of hospitality and sanctuary.

Logo With Tagline
The Vila Sancar project demonstrates how strategic design can merge personal narratives with a solid market position. The result is a brand that does more than identify a guesthouse; it celebrates the founders' legacy and the natural beauty of Chapada Diamantina.
