The Problem:

A local yoga studio already had a presence on Instagram, with 2650 followers. That's not a bad start for a small business. The problem was that their posts lacked engagement, with some getting only 7 likes and no comments. Average post engagement during the months of August to October ranged from 0.3% to 3.5%. I sought to increase that.

The Solution:

Doing trend research in the yoga and wellness space, I found relevant content ideas that encouraged conversation. I wrote stronger copy utilizing call-to-action statements, implemented bold editing techniques to increase viewer retention, and inserted a bit of humor.

The Results:

This resulted in the average engagement for the months of November to January increasing to 6.5% to 11%. Profile visits were up by 53.1% over the months of November to January compared to the prior three months. And most importantly, external link taps increased by 43.9%. This is great as it can directly influence sales. Not to mention overall reach increased by 97.2%, doubling their audience. All of this happened in just three months.
