From Standout Style to The Style Code

This project began with a complete rebrand of Melanie Lippman’s signature style consultancy offer, previously known as Standout Style.
The new offer, The Style Code, needed a visual identity and sales experience that spoke directly to professional, trailblazing women in industries such as law, technology, finance, and business.
I joined Melanie and brand strategist and copywriter Julie Cabezas for a creative direction call before beginning the design. Together, we defined the balance the new brand needed to strike: sophisticated but approachable, powerful without becoming masculine, polished without feeling intimidating, and visually elevated without becoming overly luxurious or overdesigned.
I then translated that direction into the complete offer branding, sales-page design, and customized Kartra build.

Scope of Work

→ Creative direction and visual strategy → Offer rebrand from Standout Style to The Style Code → Logo and wordmark design → Brand color and typography direction → Full sales-page design → Custom Kartra page build → Content hierarchy and page flow → Mobile-responsive design → Call-to-action and checkout-link integration → Post-design refinements and launch support

Building a Brand That Felt Powerful and Approachable

The Style Code was created for women who are already accomplished in their careers but do not always feel that their appearance reflects the level of authority, confidence, and visibility they have earned.
The visual identity needed to communicate that transformation without making the audience feel judged or overwhelmed.
The final direction combined:
→ Dark editorial foundations that conveyed authority → Warm neutrals that softened the experience → Controlled accents of plum, pink, blue, and gold → Sophisticated serif typography balanced by clear supporting type → Strong, colorful photography that positioned Melanie as both an expert and an approachable guide
The client specifically wanted to avoid an overly pink brand, predictable black-and-blush styling, excessive luxury cues, and rigid corporate design. The final identity instead used color intentionally, drawing from Melanie’s wardrobe and photography while maintaining a clean, strategic structure.

A Sales Page That Looked as Strong as the Offer

The previous page did not visually reflect the quality of Melanie’s work or the sophistication of the women she served.
The redesign needed to establish her credibility immediately, make the offer feel clear and desirable, and ensure the page itself demonstrated the style expertise being sold.
The new hero section introduced Melanie through a confident power pose, a bold but refined editorial layout, and messaging that spoke directly to women ready to look and feel like they belonged at the top.
Every visual choice was designed to reinforce her positioning as the expert who could help accomplished women align their personal style with their seniority, authority, and ambition.

Designing for a Content-Heavy Sales Page

This was a long, copy-rich page, so one of the biggest priorities was preventing the content from feeling overwhelming.
The copy already contained a deliberate hierarchy, with certain lines and ideas intended to command more attention than others. The design needed to preserve and strengthen that hierarchy rather than flattening every paragraph into the same visual weight.
I used contrast, image-led transitions, varied section structures, strong pull quotes, oversized statements, testimonials, and intentional spacing to break the content into a clear visual journey.
The result was a page that remained easy to read and skim while still giving the copy enough room to fully sell a premium, transformational offer.

Making the Transformation Feel Tangible

Because The Style Code promised more than clothing recommendations, the page needed to communicate the deeper outcome behind the offer.
The design consistently connected personal style with:
→ Confidence → Professional presence → Recognition → Authority → Visibility → Ease in getting dressed → Greater trust in personal decisions
Photography, client stories, transformation-focused statements, and offer visuals were layered throughout the page to help prospective buyers picture the experience and understand what would change for them.
The audience was not looking to become fashion influencers. They wanted a clear, repeatable system that would help them dress with confidence while remaining authentic to themselves.

Creating a Distinct VIP Experience

The offer included a newly introduced VIP path with more direct access and private support from Melanie.
This section needed to feel visibly different from the core program while still belonging to the same brand.
A darker, more immersive treatment, stronger gold accents, editorial photography, and a clear visual shift helped position the VIP option as an elevated experience rather than simply another pricing block.
The contrast gave buyers an immediate sense that they were entering a different level of support and access. The need for this section to stand apart was identified during the initial creative-direction call and became an important part of the final page structure.

Custom-Built in Kartra

The final sales page was built directly inside Kartra and customized to move far beyond the platform’s default visual limitations.
The completed page preserved the editorial quality of the design while remaining structured, responsive, readable, and functional across the full buyer journey.
Buttons and calls to action were prepared for the client’s purchasing links, and the page was designed so the final launch experience felt cohesive from the first impression through the decision to enroll.
The Before-and-After Transformation

The Before-and-After Transformation

The original page communicated the offer, but it did not visually capture Melanie’s authority, personality, or the quality of the transformation she provided.
The rebrand gave The Style Code a distinct identity, stronger positioning, clearer content flow, and a sales experience that finally looked aligned with the level of the offer.
The transformation was not simply cosmetic. It changed how the offer was framed, experienced, and understood from the moment a potential buyer entered the page.

Client Feedback

Melanie wanted a sales page and visual identity that made the offer feel as strong as the work behind it.
In her words:
