Purple has been a stigmatized color within Indonesian society for generations. It is often described as repulsive and vulgar, as society places widows and divorced women in a third-class gender. Yet purple in world history was once a royal color for a long time due to its complexity, creating such color that only royals could own piece of purple. In modern design, purple represents elegance, boldness, and maturity. Using purple for the brand becomes a necessity as it speaks to moving forward against stigma.
