Animation for 'Stuff the British Stole' Series

David Silva

Stuff the British Stole is a brilliant series hosted by Marc Fennell for ABC, where he uncovers the hidden stories behind artefacts, from heists to wars and everything in between. It’s a deep dive into the untold truths of how these treasures ended up where they are today.
I'm thrilled to have contributed to the animations featured in this series. Huge thanks to La Finka, and The Bureau for bringing me on board for this incredible project!
I had the opportunity to work on the composition, lighting, animation, and compositing for this project, using Cinema 4D and Octane. These tools gave me the flexibility to develop a polished and dynamic visual style that elevated the overall look of the series. I focused on integrating intricate details and crafting realistic lighting setups that supported the mood and tone of each scene. From the layout of the shots to the final composite, every step was carefully adjusted to enhance the visual flow and strengthen the connection between the design and the story being told.
