Vantage Point provides immersive 360° photography and visual experiences. After years of success serving youth camps, the company expanded into a new market with different buyers and competitive dynamics.
Rather than stretching the original brand to fit a new audience, leadership chose to launch a separate brand tailored specifically to this next phase.
I was brought in to design a digital presence that would clearly signal that shift.
The repositioning challenge
Vantage Point generates much of its work through RFPs and direct relationships. The website is not primarily a cold lead engine. It functions as a credibility checkpoint.
In competitive bid environments, perception matters. Buyers evaluate vendors side by side. The digital presence must reinforce professionalism, focus, and differentiation immediately.
The goal was clear:
Elevate credibility in a new market
Support RFP and sales conversations
Prepare for future paid acquisition efforts
This was a repositioning effort, not simply a visual refresh.
Design approach & web experience
The design direction intentionally moved away from traditional service website aesthetics.
We leaned into a restrained, high-end visual system inspired more by premium product brands than corporate service pages.
Key principles:
A bold dark foundation to create contrast and visual focus
Disciplined typography with clear hierarchy
Large, immersive imagery
Subtle motion to create polish without distraction
Generous spacing to elevate perception
The experience is intentionally minimal. Instead of overwhelming visitors with dense copy, the design prioritizes clarity and visual authority.
This approach signals confidence and maturity within a competitive evaluation context.

Product design exploration
Alongside the marketing site repositioning, we began early exploration into modernizing Vantage Point’s product experience.
The objective is alignment. As the external brand matured, the internal product interface needed to follow.
Current exploration focuses on:
Simplifying workflows
Improving information hierarchy
Modernizing UI components
Creating a more cohesive user journey
This work is ongoing and in early concept phase.
