I had the opportunity to design the app icon for Today's Budget, a finance app that makes saving fun and engaging. The goal was to create a visually appealing and recognizable icon that conveys the app’s core concept: money management in an intuitive and enjoyable way.

I focused on the idea of a piggy bank—a universally recognized symbol of saving money. The icon needed to feel modern, friendly, and inviting, while also standing out in the App Store.

Simplicity & Clarity: A minimal yet effective piggy bank illustration.

Color Psychology: A vibrant pink-to-purple gradient for warmth and engagement, paired with a dark background for contrast.

Playful Elements: The addition of a golden coin reinforces the savings concept and adds dynamism.

I explored multiple variations, experimenting with: ✔ Different piggy bank styles (flat, skeuomorphic, geometric) ✔ Color schemes (pink, green, brown) ✔ Background treatments (light, dark, neutral)

Through these iterations, I refined the final version to achieve the perfect balance between brand identity, visual appeal, and usability.
