Dataford is an e-learning platform dedicated to helping individuals prepare for tech interviews and land their jobs in Data Analytics.

1. Engage users in the learning process and retain them within the platform;

2. Design a platform that effectively addresses users' needs and pain points;

3. Create a seamless and intuitive learning experience minimising friction

The Dataford team already had the platform when I joined. The platform lacked a fresh, modern look, and the user experience and processes within the user journey were broken. While the platform had a certain loyal user base, new users lacked confidence in the company and didn't see the value in purchasing a subscription.

As the company expanded by releasing new features—such as courses, challenges, a resource library, and webinars—we undertook a complete revamp of the entire platform. We completely rethought the main tasks users performed, making their experience on the platform clear and intuitive. The new design also helped establish the image of a 'serious company' that users could trust. Additionally, we introduced gamification and rewards to motivate users to spend more time on the platform.
