Thrilled to share how UX design drove 200% growth in farmer adoption for an agritech client and tripled monthly active users for an investing platform – all in the last 6 months! 🌾📈
The Challenges:
1️⃣ Agritech Product: Farmers struggled with clunky features, slow workflows, and unclear data visualization. Adoption was stagnant.
2️⃣ Investing Platform: New users felt overwhelmed by complex jargon and navigation – leading to high drop-offs during onboarding.
What I Did:
✅ For Agritech:
Ran field research with farmers to map pain points (e.g., “I need weather forecasts in 2 clicks, not 10!”).
Simplified the UI, prioritized critical data (soil health, crop prices) on dashboards.
Added voice-command shortcuts for users working outdoors. 🗣️
✅ For Investing:
Redesigned the onboarding flow with bite-sized, gamified lessons on stock basics.
Created a “Beginner Mode” with plain-language explanations and risk-level filters.
Built interactive prototypes for rapid user testing with first-time investors.
Agritech:
200% surge in daily active users (farmers now rely on the app daily!).
Client quote: “This isn’t just an app anymore – it’s a lifeline for our users.”
💹 Investing Platform:
70% drop in onboarding abandonment.
3x more monthly active users – with 45% returning weekly to track portfolios.
