Al Hussein Sports Club is one of Jordan's most prominent football clubs, representing the city of Irbid and a growing generation of supporters across the country. The rebrand was created to reflect the club's growing ambitions while strengthening its connection to its roots, combining elements inspired by Irbid's heritage, local symbolism, and football culture into a modern and distinctive identity system designed to unite community pride with a bold vision for the future.

The Challenge

As Al Hussein SC continued to grow both competitively and culturally, its visual identity no longer reflected the club's ambitions, achievements, or strong connection to the city of Irbid. The challenge was to create a distinctive football brand capable of standing alongside modern sports identities while preserving the club's heritage, local pride, and emotional connection with its supporters.

The Concept

The new identity is built around the idea of belonging and pride. Inspired by Irbid's cultural and natural symbols, the concept combines elements that represent the city's history, resilience, and character into a unified visual system. Rather than following common football branding trends, the identity was designed to create a stronger sense of place, giving supporters a symbol that feels authentic to both the club and the community it represents.
The Identity
The visual identity is bold, distinctive, and deeply rooted in the spirit of Irbid. A custom emblem inspired by local heritage is supported by a contemporary visual system designed to strengthen recognition across every club touchpoint. The typography, colors, and graphic elements work together to communicate pride, ambition, and unity while maintaining a strong connection to the club's community. From match-day applications and merchandise to digital platforms and promotional materials, every element was designed to create a consistent and memorable presence that reflects both the club's legacy and its future aspirations.
