Fancy Peasant, purveyors of fine Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil, aspired to create an online presence as unique and elegant as their products. Their goal was to weave the rich tapestry of their heritage, the story behind their olive oil, traditional recipes, and more into an engaging, immersive digital experience.

Nestled in the heart of Greece, Fancy Peasant curates a selection of artisanal essentials, each with a story waiting to be told. Their mission was to bridge the gap between the local Greek artisans and a global audience, introducing the world to the authentic flavors and traditions of Greece.

The venture, initiated by Anastasia Ganias-Gellin in honor of her late father, involved a close collaboration with the founding team. Our objective was to encapsulate the Ganias family legacy, the essence of Greek culture, and centuries-old traditions in a digital realm that harmoniously blends storytelling with e-commerce.

As the designer, I focused on creating a platform that not only showcases Fancy Peasant’s exquisite olive oil but also serves as a portal into the heart of Greece. The website features an elegant design that reflects the natural beauty and simplicity of Greek landscapes, complemented by an intuitive user interface that guides visitors through the rich history and culinary applications of the olive oil.

The site also integrates an interactive recipe section, offering users a chance to explore traditional Greek dishes and how Fancy Peasant’s olive oil enhances their flavors. Additionally, we incorporated a seamless shopping experience, allowing customers to easily purchase and immerse themselves in the authentic taste of Greece, right from their homes.
