Nechitrade is a marketplace app designed to empower native artists by providing them with a platform to showcase and sell their handcrafted products. The aim of this project was to create a seamless, user-friendly marketplace that enables native artisans to manage their product listings, handle payments securely, and streamline shipping logistics.

Next.js Framework: Developed the marketplace using Next.js, ensuring fast performance with server-side rendering and enhanced SEO capabilities.

Artist Profiles & Product Listings: Enabled native artists to create profiles, upload product listings, and manage inventory. This feature allowed artists to present their work in a professional manner and reach a wider audience.

Stripe Integration for Secure Payments: Integrated Stripe to offer secure, seamless payment processing for all transactions, enabling customers to use various payment methods with confidence.

Shippo API for Shipping: Implemented the Shippo API to streamline the shipping process, allowing artists to automatically generate shipping labels, track shipments, and manage fulfillment efficiently.

Seller Dashboard: Built a custom seller dashboard for artisans, enabling them to manage orders, view and track sales, and gain insights into their business performance. The dashboard provides a centralized overview of their store’s activity, making it easier to handle day-to-day operations.

Order Management: Provided sellers with tools to manage incoming orders, mark orders as shipped, and communicate with buyers, ensuring smooth transaction processing.

Sales Analytics Overview: Integrated sales reporting within the dashboard, allowing sellers to track revenue, monitor product performance, and gain insights into customer behavior.

Responsive Design: Ensured the app was fully responsive, offering an optimal user experience across mobile devices, tablets, and desktops.

Advanced Search and Filters: Integrated a search and filter system that allows users to easily browse through products by categories, price ranges, or specific artists.

SEO Optimization: Implemented on-page SEO, including meta tags and optimized images, to improve organic visibility and attract more traffic to the marketplace.

Vercel Deployment: Deployed the app on Vercel, ensuring smooth deployment, scalability, and performance even during periods of high traffic.

The Nechitrade marketplace successfully provided native artisans with a comprehensive platform to sell their products and manage their online stores. The seller dashboard enhanced user experience by giving artisans control over their order management and offering sales insights. The integration of Stripe and Shippo streamlined payments and shipping, providing a smooth end-to-end process for both buyers and sellers. The site saw an increase in user engagement and sales as a result of the SEO and performance optimizations.

This project showcases my ability to build a fully functional, scalable marketplace app, integrating essential features such as payment processing, shipping, and seller management tools using Next.js, Stripe, and Shippo.
