For the Tesla Cybertruck 3D website concept, the goal wasn't only to create an immersive 3D product experience — it was to make the interface surrounding it feel equally alive.
Alongside the scroll-driven 3D scenes created with XrollY, I designed and built a series of interactive animations in Rive that respond to user interactions and complement the movement of the Cybertruck.
Building the Rive Interactions
Rive was used to transform traditional interface elements into responsive motion experiences.
Instead of relying on static graphics or predefined video loops, the animations were built as real-time interactive elements. Different states, transitions, and micro-interactions could react naturally to the user while remaining lightweight enough for the web.
The motion language was designed around the Cybertruck itself — minimal, mechanical, futuristic, and precise.
The Result
The result is an automotive web concept where motion isn't limited to the 3D model.
The interface, interactions, and 3D environment work together as one connected experience, demonstrating how Rive and real-time 3D can complement each other when building modern product websites.
Technology
Rive · XrollY · Blender · Framer · Interactive Animation · Web 3D
This project explores a workflow where Rive powers lightweight interactive motion while XrollY handles immersive scroll-driven 3D — allowing both technologies to focus on what they do best.
