SousChef, Hospitality Intelligence Platform, Rebuild to Launch

When the client first came to us with SousChef, he already had something built. But when we looked at it together, it just didn’t feel ready to put in front of users. The idea was strong, but the product needed some serious love before it could launch.

So we rolled up our sleeves, did a full audit, and agreed the best move was to start fresh. Rebuilding meant we could take his vision and turn it into something simple, solid, and actually exciting for restaurants to use.

The first release focused on the Insights Chat System, giving restaurants a simple way to ask questions in plain language and get clear answers back, without digging through spreadsheets.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been building the foundations that make SousChef powerful: pulling together data from sales, labour, suppliers and head office systems into one reliable view.

What started as a rescue has turned into a much bigger platform, one that helps hospitality teams spot issues earlier, stay on top of margins, and make faster decisions across multiple sites.
