Taking Up Space | Event Identity

OVERVIEW
A passion project coming from production agency Bouclé, and hosted at a historical apartment building in Athens, Taking Up Space is an exhibition that celebrates female artists on International Women’s Day.
THE IDEA
The main component of the identity is the event logo. The letters that form the word "SPACE" – Hand-drawn, then edited in 3D and finally lightly animated – subtly nod to the exhibition's title as they struggle to occupy more room than they're 'allowed to'.
The poster layout further enhances the concept as the elements react through animation and the background expands and contracts accordingly, reminiscing a breathing pattern. The menu design featured three custom cocktails, with their names written in the distinct lettering style of the logo.
