Lexis AI is a production contract-intelligence system for legal teams handling NDAs, SLAs, and DPAs. It turns a manual first-pass contract review into a structured workflow that surfaces material risks, proposed redlines, and negotiation-ready pushback copy in under 90 seconds.

The product was built to help legal teams move from a long unstructured document to an organized decision view: what matters, how severe it is, what language may need changing, and what response to send next.

A user uploads or submits a contract for review.

The system identifies the agreement type and applies the matching NDA, SLA, or DPA playbook.

Claude Sonnet and Gemini 2.5 Flash work through a hardened prompt and workflow layer to analyze the document.

Lexis AI returns severity-ranked risk cards, a contract safety score, and UK-law-framed review guidance.

The user can generate proposed DOCX redlines, rewrite selected language, or create one-click pushback copy for negotiation.

Lexis AI was built as a Next.js 15 and React 19 application, with Claude Sonnet and Gemini 2.5 Flash forming the AI layer. The system used Vercel KV for application state, Vercel Blob for file handling, Tailwind CSS 4 for the interface, and DOCX export for editable redline delivery.

The deployed version is currently offline. This project is presented as a portfolio case study of the system and its shipped capabilities. Lexis AI supports legal-workflow triage and review preparation, and is not a substitute for legal advice or final legal review.
