PlayDrift is an entertainment technology brand at the heart of the music experience. They offer a full suite of services including music production, promotion, digital marketing, and a fast-growing music streaming platform. Their mission is to create a seamless connection between artists and audiences—amplifying sound, storytelling, and strategy through tech.
When PlayDrift approached me, they needed a brand identity that could capture the soul of music and the speed of digital innovation. The challenge was to bring all their offerings under a single, unified visual language that would resonate with both creators and listeners.
I started with deep exploration—understanding their audience, voice, and future ambitions. The result is a bold, clean logo that fuses three core visual elements:
A DJ hand on a disc, representing creation and control.
A play icon, signaling accessibility and digital flow.
Sound waves, symbolizing impact, rhythm, and reach.
These elements were seamlessly integrated into a unique “d” letterform, forming an abstract yet meaningful symbol that’s instantly recognizable. The teal color adds freshness and vibrancy, evoking trust and creative energy.
The identity system extends effortlessly across digital interfaces, app icons, merch, and promotional visuals—balancing functionality and flair. PlayDrift now has a brand that doesn’t just look good—it speaks volumes.
