A climate-tech and circular-economy company raising Seed to Series A capital needed more than a list of investors. It needed a system to evaluate which investors were worth pursuing.
Instead of handing over names and emails, I built a research framework around 22 data points per investor, covering identity, investment focus, activity, and verified proof of relevance.
What the research covered
Investor identity: name, organization, country, region, and type
Decision-maker details: name, title, LinkedIn, and public contact information where available
Investment profile: stage, estimated ticket size, climate-tech and circular-economy focus, geographic reach, and portfolio companies
Validation: direct investment proof plus a minimum of 2 independent sources per claim
Strategic fit: a custom 0–100 relevance score based on sector fit, stage fit, technology interest, activity level, and overall strategic value
Every investor was manually researched and cross-verified before being added to the database. The process avoids assumptions and unverified claims.
This demonstrates the depth I bring when a client needs more than a contact list. They need a system for deciding who is worth reaching out to.
