The wrapped bag is a concept created for my brand YMIR. The design originates from a dream where I saw someone carrying this bag and sketched in down in my notebook in the middle of the night. Here is the whole story behind it:
Design
As mentioned in the introduction the design originates from a sketch I made in the middle of the night. Therefore, the sketch is very rough and can be hard to comprehend.

As a result of the rough sketch, there were some gaps for me to fill. The gaps was filled in using the VR modeling program Gravity Sketch, as it allows for quick iterations in 3D. With it being in VR you get a great sense of the design. After testing a couple iterations, this was the final design.
The wrapped bag is rounded leather duffel bag with a leather strap wrapping around the whole bag. Because of the zipper on the top of the bag, the leather strap couldn't be one continuous piece. But it is sowed on to give the effect of being one continuous piece.
