To be able to write and send out a successful email campaign you need to know what audience you're targeting.
1. Define your goal. What do you want to achieve with this email campaign? Do you want to promote an upcoming product, increase engagement on your business' social media, drive traffic to your website?
2. Like I said in my first sentence, who are you trying to reach with this email campaign?
3. Make an compelling subject line. Your subject line should grab your audience's attention and make them want to click on the email instead of them flagging it as spam or instantly just deleting it. This is the most important step because if your subject line is not ''fun'' enough, your kind of just wasting your time. Be creative.
4.When you're writing your email, imagine you're having a conversation with a friend. Keep your message clear and concise, and break up the text into short paragraphs and bullet points. Make sure to include a call-to-action that tells your readers what you want them to do next. Just a quick example of this: 'Ready to take your business to the next level? 5. Add visuals. They help make your email more engaging and memorable. Use videos, gifs, and images to break up the text and add interest. Now this does depend on what your niche is, if your contact list exists out of business men and rich ceo's to who you're sending the email campaigns to it's maybe better to tone it down on the gifs and jokes and to just be precise and straight to the point.
6. Personalize your message: Use your audience's name and other information to make your email feel more personal. People like to feel included because it gives them a sense of belonging and connection. This is important in today's fast-paced and often isolating world.
7. Now this one is a bit obvious, but test your email just like you would test your resume before sending it out. Make sure to test it on different devices to make sure it looks good and functions properly.
8. Track your results, put it in a spreadsheet, track your open rates and click-through rates to see how your campaign is performing. You can use this data later on to refine your approach and improve future marketing.
