Banking Application Backend

Designed, implemented and lead the team for a new back-end application in the banking industry for obtaining new loans by the bank's customers. The application is designed to be flexible and to handle multiple loan flows depending on the customer's type, revenue and other criteria. Furthermore, the application could serve multiple front-end clients, like Android and iOS applications, using a standard API. Helped migrate legacy applications from on-premise deployment to cloud deployment using Liferay Web Portal. Main responsabilities: - Collaborate with the customer to define requirements - System Architecture including the definition of technology stack - Mentoring team members - Code reviews - Implementing and testing new features - Mentoring technical leads from other projects and providing technical advice
