- Matías Silva Carbone

I designed and developed a highly visual portfolio website for Matías Silva Carbone, a creative copywriter from Argentina with a strong portfolio of projects across multiple industries. From the beginning, the client had a very clear vision for the site’s structure and interactions, which strongly guided the overall direction of the project.

A key requirement from the client was that the homepage work as an immediate showcase of his projects. He specifically requested an interactive hover state where each project reveals a contextual background video related to the work. This interaction became a core element of the experience and a defining feature of the site.

The site features a bold orange gradient background, chosen to create a distinctive and energetic visual identity that reflects the client’s creative personality. This strong visual base helps the work stand out while keeping the focus on the projects themselves.

In addition to the homepage, I built individual pages for each project (nine in total). These pages maintain visual consistency across the site while allowing each piece of work to be explored in greater depth.

The final result is a portfolio that faithfully translates the client’s original vision into a polished, functional, and engaging web experience, balancing strong visual impact with clear presentation of the work.
