The client
Marcus is the Berkeley Square boutique housing one of the most significant watch collections in the world. The Haute Horlogerie range is unlike any other retail collection. Each piece a one-off, personally commissioned by Marcus Margulies from the world's most extraordinary watchmakers. Greubel Forsey. Richard Mille. Hublot. Piaget. Breguet. Urwerk. Franck Muller.
The brief
Marcus had no online presence. The brief was won in open pitch. The commission: build their first digital destination. A world-class brochure site that could do justice to a collection at this level and bring serious collectors into the boutique.
What was delivered
A main site and ten individual brand microsites, each conceived and art directed as a standalone world.
Every microsite was built around the personality of the watch itself. Each environment was researched, directed, and built from stock assets alone.
The main site established Marcus as a world-class digital destination. Dark, cinematic, immersive. Built to position the collection exactly as Margulies had always intended.
