Property Organiser Platform — Case Study

1. The Client & Problem

Property Organiser was built as a property portfolio management platform for landlords, property owners, and real estate managers.
The client wanted to create a centralized dashboard where users could manage properties, tenants, rental income, expenses, ROI, and portfolio performance from one place.
The main problem was that property data was usually scattered across spreadsheets, manual records, emails, and different financial documents. This made it difficult for users to clearly understand how their portfolio was performing.

2. The Challenge

The challenge was to build a platform that could simplify complex property and financial data.
The system needed to support:
Multiple property records
Tenant and rental information
CSV / Excel data import
Income and expense tracking
ROI calculations
Portfolio-level reporting
Admin oversight
Subscription-based access
Clear dashboards for non-technical users
The product had to feel simple on the front end, while handling detailed property and financial logic in the background.

3. My Approach

My approach was to structure the platform around clarity and decision-making.
Instead of only creating a database for properties, we focused on building a dashboard that helped users understand their portfolio performance quickly.
The platform was planned around:

CSV / Excel import to reduce manual entry
Clean property and tenant management
Automated financial calculations
Visual dashboards for income, expenses, and ROI
Admin controls for managing users and platform activity

The goal was to help property owners move away from spreadsheets and manage their portfolio in a more organized, data-driven way.
