THE ART OF CREATIVITY ✨

Experimenting. Exploring. Not knowing exactly what the outcome will be. PLAYING.

I started with paper: arranging, breaking it apart, and creating compositions. In that imperfect, analog process through randomness, mistakes, and trying again – something emerged.

Something real. Fragile. Human.

Once I had a feeling for where the journey was going, I could translate that feeling into words and create images for the book with Envato that carried the same emotion. I was also able to quickly create mockups that gave me a vision of the final product. And then I turned it into a small spot for the poetry book: inspired by memories of my grandfather reading poems to us when we were younger, and the emotions those moments created.

A personal idea, brought to life in a short amount of time with the help of the right tools. That’s what Human by Design means to me: Humans decide what stays, what disappears, and what feels right. It’s our curiosity. Our experimentation. Our need to play. 🤍
