The true Corporate Combine experience begins when you sign up for our service. When you sign up, we sort through our select pool of applicants to make sure you have a wide selection of interview candidates for your recruitment location. This level of urgency, passion, and dedication to assisting you in finding your future workers is unmatched. We take issues into our own hands since we know the challenges of finding the best of the best.
You'll have a selection of highly qualified, fully vetted candidates two weeks before Corporate Combine. You can then decide if your company prefers interviews to last 15, 30, 40, or 60 minutes. It's your choice!
We offer candidates from universities or colleges from within a 75-100 miles radius of the Combine. As a value-added service that we find many organizations are interested in, we can also invite prospective interns as candidate attendees upon request. Next, we start creating your schedule for the event. Our Combines are designed to feel less like a convention and more like a conversation. Each corporate partner is set up with a 300 square foot ear that is designed to stimulate engagement, conversation, and networking.
There will undoubtedly be a few excellent applicants that were overlooked during the pre- screening, but that's alright. In order to provide you with the greatest options possible, we'll assist in setting up an offsite meeting where you can interview these prospects. You can network and meet with people on a much more casual level at a cocktail gathering that some Combine events host. We find that many of our partners are able to have a better understanding of the personalities and goals of candidates at these end of day functions.
We can also provide you with candidate feedback within 96 hours of our Combine event. The feedback offers your company priceless knowledge that will help you improve and strengthen your already outstanding hiring practices.

After the event, we ask each candidate to give us thorough feedback on the business partners they spoke with and whether or not they want to continue the relationship (please note that this does not imply they want to have a second conversation, but this information helps us prevent that if they decide to do so and you are no longer interested in the relationship).

Virtual Combines

We aim to offer our recruitment services to every corporation in a method that works for them. Not every partner has the ability to commit to an in-person Combine, and that's okay. Still want to gain access to our high-value pool of candidates? We offer virtual Combines. Virtual recruitment can be just as useful and rewarding as in-person events. Our virtual corporate Combines are tailored for corporate partners to access fully vetted virtual appointments and a full bevy of "walk-in" traffic. Every virtual Combine event consists of hundreds of highly motivated candidates for our corporate partners to network and interview with.
Due to space limitations, our in-person Combines are restricted to only allowing three representatives for every corporate partner. Virtual Combines are without these limitations and allow you to have as many as twelve representatives for up to four departments or divisions within your company.
Our virtual Combine offers you a pool of candidates looking for permanent placements and those looking for contract work or internships. This allows you to find the best candidate to fit your company's individual needs. You'll also receive helpful feedback from your interviewees, just as you would at an in-person Combine. The feedback is helpful for strengthening your recruitment efforts and allowing you to perform at your best for future events.

How is this different from other in-person job fairs?
Phenom Group has Combined the most advantageous aspects of contingent search firms and traditional job fairs while providing services not typically found at standard recruitment events. Before adding any candidate to the roster of our corporate Combine, we conduct a thorough screening process. We submit candidates to our corporate partners within seven days of the Combine. Then, these corporations decide which applicants reflect the required qualities and skills and deduce who they wish to interview.
After that, we organize everything. We do not require or allow booths at our events; instead, we have constructed 250 - 300 square foot sections with tables, chairs, and a small lounge area for each partner. We provide complimentary food services for all of our corporate partners and a cocktail reception after the conclusion of the Combine in certain locations. Within 96 hours of the conclusion of the Combine, we provide both our corporate partners and candidates with feedback regarding their meetings and the possibility of moving forward.
What distinguishes your virtual job fairs from others?
At our virtual Combines, we distinguish ourselves once again by our attention to detail and the blended approach we incorporate into every event. Our partners will receive thoroughly screened candidate packets within seven days of the virtual Combines. Then, they select who and how many people to interview, provide us with the candidates; and we handle the rest. In contrast to other virtual job fairs, we provide an average of up to six places per company. You have the option of showcasing up to twelve positions from up to four departments or divisions within your company. We recognize the majority of our attendees will only be present during business hours throughout different time zones, and our virtual Combines are accessible for up to thirty hours.
How many applicants can we anticipate seeing at your live events?
Most of our candidates are sourced within a 100-mile radius of the Combine. We purposefully locate our events in areas that provide candidates from at least three colleges or institutions, typically more than five. Depending on the size of the Combine, you can anticipate receiving at least 250 - 300 applications, but typically closer to 400 or more. You will have the opportunity to interact with individuals who were not selected for an interview; but who may be of interest. Please note that we will not send you the resumes of all applicants; instead, you can review our database for the event and select who you are interested in interviewing from there.
How many candidates are anticipated to attend your virtual Combines?
Since there are no size constraints for our virtual Combines, you can expect at least 450 candidates on average, but we project to host over 600 candidates for the thirty-hour duration. As with the in-person Combine, we will not inundate you with resumes; rather, you will be able to pursue our database before the event and select the candidates you wish to interview. Please remember that we also offer applicants for internships and contract positions through our virtual Combined events.
Can we contract Phenom Group for a specific search?
The majority of our time and energy is devoted to achieving our mission of being the world's leading employment event provider. We are accessible for specific search contracts on a limited scale. Nevertheless, we provide a distinctive talent pool and will collaborate with our corporate clients on a small number of retained searches throughout the year.
What is Phenom Group's refund policy?
We recognize that circumstances and plans can change. However, we base our in-person locations on a minimum number of corporate partners. Therefore, we offer our business partners the option of transferring their attendance cost to another one of our events or receiving a 75% refund. If, for any reason, we fail to provide you with reasonable expectations for any event, we will offer you free admission to another event, with our commitment to improving your overall experience. We strive to not only meet but greatly exceed your expectations.
What can I anticipate as a candidate in the Phenom Group database?
Once we have your resume, we will schedule a 20 - 30 minute conversation to better understand your needs and timeline. We'll ask you to complete a series of brief online tests so that we can understand your skillset and better match you with our corporate partners. We require all candidates to attend both in-person and virtual Combine events; this will allow you to fully assess the market and make the best choice possible.
