Overview

Fourbank is a white-label fintech platform that enables companies to launch fully branded digital banking products, including Pix, payments, loans, and account management across web and mobile.
I worked as a Senior Product Designer, leading the redesign of core user journeys and building a scalable Design System that allowed multiple brands to customize the platform efficiently without compromising consistency or speed.

The Challenge

Fourbank’s customization process was slow and expensive.
Each new client brand required heavy manual work… • ~90 hours of design • ~90 hours of development
There was no clear structure defining what could be customized, which led to misaligned expectations, rework, and long approval cycles.
The product needed to scale… but the design process wasn’t ready for that.

Research & Insights

I collaborated closely with CEOs, marketing leaders, and internal stakeholders to understand real business and user needs.
Key insights: • Brand customization (colors, logos, UI accents) was critical for sales • Clients wanted flexibility without breaking the product • Faster prototyping directly improved approval speed

The Solution

I designed a modular, token-based Design System built specifically for white-label fintech products.
The system included: • Reusable components adaptable to multiple brands • Design tokens for colors, typography, and UI elements • Clear rules defining what can and cannot be customized
I also created a visual identity guide to align internal teams and clients, reducing friction during onboarding and implementation.

Process

• UX research and stakeholder interviews • Journey mapping and friction analysis • Design System architecture and component library • Prototyping and validation in Figma • Close collaboration with engineering teams

Results

The impact was immediate and measurable:
Design time reduced from ~90h to ~9h Development time reduced from ~90h to ~30h • Significant reduction in rework and approval loops • Faster client onboarding and improved scalability
The platform became easier to sell, faster to customize, and more consistent across brands.

Learnings

This project strengthened my experience designing complex, regulated fintech products where scalability, speed, and brand flexibility must coexist.
If I were to improve one thing… I would involve engineering even earlier to reduce technical constraints from day one.
